Summary

Over the past 20 years held a number of senior positions across a number of industries, ie: Public Accounting,  Hotels and Casino, Ports, Harbour and Airports and the Petroleum Storage.

 

His knowledge and experience encompass leadership roles, business development initiatives with key customers, regulatory authorities, Government agencies and Heads of State. Worked seamlessly inside and outside the Bahamas, particularly in Central, South and North America and Asia.

He has served with industry organizations such as the Tourism board and also representing the industrial companies on energy issues with the power utility. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of key public and private corporations.

Ramses Energy Partners Limited (REP) is a company engaged in the petroleum trading business. Our main activities are focused around:

Trading of Petroleum Products mainly, Fuel Oil, Gasoline, Diesel and Aviation fuels, Development of storage and handling facilities of the above products to facilitate trading as well as the provision of services to third parties.

 

Managing Director – Ramses International Limited

A private investment firm headquartered in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Bahamas. Ramses is a holding company with operational interests in; energy trading in the Caribbean, communications, real estate and business advisory services.

 

Professional Background

 

2009 - 2012 President of Bahamas Oil Refining Company International Ltd. (BORCO). Borco is the 4th largest Marine Storage terminal in the world and largest in the Caribbean. 26.4 million Barrels of Storage.

1996 – 2009 Freeport Container Port, Freeport Harbour Company and the Grand Bahama Airport Company (joint venture companies of Hutchison Port Holding Group (HPH is the Port arm of Hutchison Whampoa – Hong Kong based conglomerate)

2007: Chief Operating Officer for the following HPH companies in the Bahamas: Freeport Container Port (FCP), Freeport Harbour Company (FHC) and the Grand Bahama Airport Company (GBAC)

2004: HPH Port Management in Hong Kong and assigned to South America – mainly Mexico: Project Manager – Finance and Business Development

 

2003 / 2004: Completed Executive MBA program with Richard Ivey School of Business as part of HPH’s Global Leadership Development program. Held at Universities and HPH facilities in Mexico, South America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

 

2002: Commercial Director

 

1996: Assistant Group Financial Controller; Grand Bahama Port Authority Group of Companies which included; Grand Bahama Power, Grand Bahama Utility and Grand Bahama Development Company and subsidiaries.

 

1982: Financial Controller; Bahamas Princess Resort & Casino (965 room hotel and casino)

 

1980: Began professional career with Price Waterhouse & Co.

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Computer Science. University of North Carolina at Elizabeth City State University.

Richard Ivey School of Business: Condensed Executive MBA Program.
